Drink water!

Minimise energy use / loss:

Keep warm and sheltered, use energy from sun, fire and plants

Locate near resources, esp water, fuel and other heavy items

Be efficient, never go empty handed

Plan and think, use your brain

Forage and eat small quantities, don’t neglect micro nutrients

Avoid exertion and sweating, pace yourself, and get sleep

Cook roots and tubers to release energy

Sprout seeds and beans

Need >500 calories per day (mainly carbohydrates).
